LCC'S SILENT SAMARITAN AWARD was presented to Judith Benke, second from left, at the Center's Annual Gala on October 1.  Mrs. Benke was recognized for her outstanding service to the Center including her years as a member of the Administrative Board as well as her leadership as chairperson of the Board.   Pictured with her are the Rev. Dr. Robert Hartwell, Pastor of Village Lutheran Church in Bronxville, who was the MC for the occasion, Mrs. Molly W. Blancke, Executive Director of the Lutheran Counseling Center, and Judith's husband, the Rev. Dr. David Benke, president of the Atlantic District of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod.
